Nelson Bros. Inc. is a sheet metal contracting firm which has had
over 75 years of contracting experience in the sheet metal
fabrication and installation field.
We carry a full supply of galvanized
steel, black iron, copper, stainless steel and aluminum materials in
our 20,000 sq. ft. facility, which also houses some of the latest
fabrication and installation tools needed to get any job done -
commercial and residential.
Nelson Bros. can assume full
responsibility for the design, fabrication and erection/installation
of siding, roofing, panel walls, gutters and downspouts, skylights,
ventilation systems and more.

The Walter Payton Center in Lake Forest
Hills, Ill., is used for practice and training by the Chicago Bears
football team. It’s named in honor of the late Bears running back,
who died of a rare liver disease in 1999.
Last year, the center’s deteriorating roof was in need of major
structural repairs. A metal roof was chosen to replace it. This
wouldn’t be a problem if the center weren’t an 85-foot-high
structure with a vaulted “barrel” roof.
If that wasn’t difficult enough, the location of the training center
with surrounding geography further challenged Nelson Bros. Inc. and
the employees of the 75-year-old metal roofing and siding company.
